We should make it to where each DJ has to state there set up (equipment VDJ, CDJ's, Vinyl, Serato etc.) Just so we can see which DJs are "really" puttin in work.
Example: DJ #1 (VDJ)
DJ # 2 (Stanton C.324 CDJ Turntables. Denon mixer)

Just an opinion.

I still think VDJ aint no way to battle. Everything that yal doin with the click of a button, real djs can do with there hands. All that Flanger shit is done manually. Its like someone playin some madden compared to a real football player. Yea its fun, but you cant say that "I play football" when all your really doing is pushing buttons. I will let my table work speak for itself. Hopefully everyone can understand that there is a BIG difference.

Haha, Yea I feel that. But you can still get a nice set up for under 1 g. Mine was less then that. And plus, One of my tables already took a shit on me and I had to get it replaced. Did it just in time for this competition. But hey, No one told me to go get up and get it. Just grinded for whut I wanted and achieved my goal.

Agree

I dont use VDj, I use a version of Traktor DJ (four tables, two mixes, can you VDJs do that?) Traktor is a digital program, but an awesome program, prolly the closes thing to vinyl/analog. Its more than just hitting buttons, way more shit than VDJ. they make turntables for the program, but I lost mine in a soda pop accident.

VDJ is too automated.

and alot of people use a fake flanger effect, lames. it sounds better to play two tracks at the same time and tweak the speed.
